leaving twitter

I lied. IlSharko (twitter) tweeted he has an account on gettr called IlPresidento, so naturally I had to go over there. And gettr is enough like twitter that it's very easy to go use immediately.

Back to 3D life.

Our 4th of July party was awesome, people all over the place like the old days, kids screaming in the sprinkler, everyone eating too much, and ended with excited yap about kayaking... o_O 

I'm personally never going to kayak, but it'll be fun if the others go. I'm sure I'll hear stories galore.

I haven't gotten fresh pix yet, but my chickens are full grown now and should start laying any time. They got so many goodies left over from the party! Like half a head of lettuce, sliced tomatoes, part of a big watermelon, what was left of the corn on the cob. They love party food!

Henny Penny (Rhode Island Red) has taken over as the Boss. It was Goldie (Buff Orpington) for the longest time, with Matilda (Barred Rock) filling in as lackey swiping food from everyone, sucking up to Goldie all the time. Matilda is her own hen now, doesn't suck up to anybody any more. Trixie (Black Australorp) has the most beautiful green sheen we've ever seen on a black chicken, but her eyes look odd like she's always surprised or miffed or something. Princess Layer (Brown Leghorn) is all about the food, very no-nonsense, and Heather Feather (Easter egger) kind of follows her around because they're both a little on the timid side with Penny around, which is weird after what we went through with Spencer, another Brown Leghorn who went so crazy beating everyone up that we had to completely separate her forever from the flock and keep her in jail when they got to get out of the pen. Juanita is just a really gorgeous chicken and defies the mixed breeding we were told she is. I've had a Black Star before, and she doesn't quite fit that description, but I'm not minding one bit. Just hope she lays decently well enough to make up for it.

I know this is a boring first link to put on a new social media site, but here goes. Oh, btw, is that a Tesla tower??? I mean, it kinda looks like one.
