Imagine a company being able to monitor you indiscriminately and tell you what to do with their product after you'd paid for it.
Imagine a company holding such power over your life that your actual life depended on it, and then they said Sorry, can't support ya right now during the worse climate event of the entire year.
Imagine having no recourse for the way that company let you down, to the point of physical suffering and physical damages to your property.
This is what power companies did this winter during the polar vortex.
